The 994 sold flats in Blocks 513 to 520 were constructed in 1979. The SERS strategy also includes an eating house and 14 sold stores.
Based on the HDB, SERS just applies to places with redevelopment potential that is great, and offers residents a chance to move to new flats on fresh 99-year leases.
Additionally, eligible singles looking to buy a replacement flat can apply for a SERS grant of $15,000, while combined singles eligible are and families for a $30,000 grant.
The replacement flats at West Coast Link and Clementi Avenue 1 will range from 2-room Flexi to 3Gen flats. These new flats are scheduled to be finished in the third quarter of 2022. And there are few new condo coming in Clementi and West Coast namely Parc Riviera and The Clement Canopy.
The Housing Board will notify all SERS flat owners and commercial property owners independently of these strategies.
